Endeavors Special Needs Services

Endeavors offers a choice of paid work with local business and government in communities throughout Polk County. We also offer job skills training and employment in our center in Balsam Lake and our greenhouse in Milltown.

The added benefit to employers is that we provide the worker’s compensation, transportation, job-specific coaching, training and on-going supervision.

This program serves adults with the most significant disabilities to promote personal growth and enhance basic living skills. Depending on the skill level and needs of the adult, the required client-to-staff ratio varies from one-to-one, two up to six-to-one.

Our Day Services program is one of the few in the region for individuals living with the most severe disabilities.

Day Friends, our memory care program, is a place where caring, trained and state certified staff provide a safe, secure and supportive environment with socialization and therapeutic activities for those in Polk County with a primary diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injury (TBI), dementia and other forms of memory loss.

We provide county-wide transportation for our Day Friends participants.
